These lovely contemporary drop earrings are made from a hammered sterling silver or gold circular disc, which has been simply suspended from a traditional sterling silver hooked ear wire.

The discs are each a dainty 9mm across in diameter and available in either solid sterling silver or gold filled. Please select your chosen metal from the menu.

'Gold filled' is the term used to describe a base metal which has been mechanically bonded with a thick outer layer of gold. This gives it the same appearance and durability as solid gold (as opposed to 'gold plated', which can wear off quickly) but at a much more affordable price.

The earrings are paired with contemporary and minimalist hook earwires made from solid sterling silver, and have a total length of 21mm from the top of the hook to the bottom of the disc.

The discs have been gently hammered by hand for texture, before being polished to a fine shine. The reverse of each one has a brushed satin finish for contrast.
