Handmade and hand-stamped with the words ‘just get on with it’ these motivational thumb rings are forged from recycled sterling silver and designed to be comfortable but with just enough weight to keep you conscious of them and regularly bring attention back to their message.

Originally created for myself as a tool to help me balance my ADHD brain, I had so many enquiries about these that I have made them available as part of my collection. They are perfect for anyone who needs the occasional little mental nudge, as well as those who like to fidget with jewellery and keep their fingers busy.

They can of course be worn on any finger (or even on a chain) but are intended to be worn on the thumb for both visibility and to allow the wearer to best feel the effect of the added weight of silver. They are a really effective means to remind yourself to just keep at it - especially if you work with your hands or do a lot of typing on a keyboard.

They are a lovely tactile fit with very slightly flared edges for comfort, and are a substantial enough weight to allow you to know they are there, without them being bothersome. Just be careful not to wear it all the time, or else you may get used to the sensation and it will lose some of that magic power!

The band measures just under 7mm in width and is 1.2mm thick. Each one is stamped by hand with the words 'just get on with it' in a capital letter typewriter-style font. As the letters are added by hand and not machine engraved they are deliberately arranged in a rather quirky or 'wonky' way. This beautifully complements the whole vibe of the message, but also means that each one is totally unique!

Each ring has been given a darkening patina to bring out the detail of the letters and give it a beautiful vintage vibe, before being polished to a soft shine.

Readily available in UK sizes O to T - the width of the band has already been taken into account so there is no need to size up, as is sometimes necessary with thicker rings.

Please do get in touch if you require a size outside of this range though, as I may be able to make one specially, however at the moment I am not able to undertake any individual personalisations or changes to the wording.

PACKAGING & SHIPPING

Due to weight and size, each ring will be carefully gift wrapped and presented in a ribbon-tied cardboard gift box. All items are sent in mailing boxes, mailing bags or padded envelopes as appropriate.

Shipping within the UK is already included via Royal Mail's ‘Tracked 24’ service (delivery estimate within 2-3 working days), with an optional upgrade to an express 'Special Delivery' service available at checkout for an additional charge (delivery estimate 1-2 working days).

I always aim to despatch all orders on the same or next working day that they are received, so any upgrade in postage chosen by a customer will be for the purposes of achieving higher priority within the Royal Mail system itself, rather than a faster processing time from me as a seller.
