Sterling Silver 'Caged' Quartz Crystal Sphere Pendant Necklace
A magical and wearable crystal ball in a handcrafted sterling silver locket! Each of these striking and unique necklaces features a genuine quartz crystal gemstone sphere, set in a handcrafted solid silver cage - the exact design of which is unique to Willow & Twigg.

Each crystal is perfectly rounded with a glossy polished surface and naturally occurring inclusions and fractions inside, which can even give off tiny rainbows at certain angles in the sunlight - just like a tiny bubble.
They have been securely set into a very simple cage made from shiny recycled solid silver that has just four bars - keeping the metal to a minimum and letting the beauty of the stone take centre stage.
The pendant is suspended from the top by means of a simple silver hanging ring, and whilst the crystal is free to spin in the setting, it should be noted that it cannot be removed (and therefore is safe from accidental loss!).
There are two sizes now available; the slightly larger crystal spheres measure approximately 16-18mm in diameter, with cages measuring approximately 18-20mm across at the widest part and 25mm in length from the base to the top of the fixed hanging rings.
The smaller crystals are 14-16mm in diameter and have cages measuring approximately 16-18mm across. Please nominate your preference from the menu on the left of the page.
The pendants will been paired with a 50cm/20" solid sterling silver belcher chain which fastens with a lobster trigger clasp. The chain is a thicker and stronger style to match the weight of the pendant, and there are longer options available for an additional charge if required. Please select your preferred length from the menu on the left.
This is a beautifully unique style of necklace, and a real conversation starter. The tactile nature of the crystal spinning in the setting is also perfect if you like to 'fiddle' with your jewellery too, and a great way to keep anxious hands busy.
Please note - as previously stated the crystal is not removable and the cage does not open in any way.
These 'cage' style necklaces are made and sold individually, but I have made several of them to the same design. Due to minimal variations in the sizes and appearance of the crystals, I do not update the images each time and the exact necklace received may not be one that is shown in the photos here.
As these necklaces are all individually handmade to order, please allow a longer despatch time of up to one week from placing your order. During busier periods, such as Christmas, this time may need to be extended, but I will get in touch as soon as possible if this is the case. ABOUT THE GEMSTONE CRYSTAL
Crystal quartz, also known as rock crystal, is a transparent, colourless quartz crystal. It's often associated with amplifying energy, enhancing clarity, and promoting healing. It's believed to be a "master healer" stone, capable of absorbing, storing, releasing, and regulating energy.
In healing terms, it is claimed it can connect to all of the chakras, clearing blockages and enhancing psychic ability. It is also said to help revitalise emotional, mental, physical and spiritual planes. It is traditionally seen as a cleansing stone, which can assist with spiritual growth, help aid concentration, unlock memories, bring the body into balance and improve mental clarity, emotional stability and meditation.
PACKAGING & SHIPPING
Due to weight and value, each necklace will be carefully gift wrapped and presented in a ribbon-tied cardboard gift box. All items are sent in mailing boxes, mailing bags or padded envelopes as appropriate.
Shipping within the UK is already included via Royal Mail's ‘Tracked 24’ service (delivery estimate within 2-3 working days), with an optional upgrade to an express 'Special Delivery' service available at checkout for an additional charge (delivery estimate 1-2 working days).
I always aim to despatch all orders on the same or next working day that they are received, so any upgrade in postage chosen by a customer will be for the purposes of achieving higher priority within the Royal Mail system itself, rather than a faster processing time from me as a seller.
