This collection features a trio of beautiful necklaces that are perfect for any nature enthusiast! Created in solid sterling silver using metal clay, each one is a unique replica of a real oak twig that was collected from the tree that grows outside my house.
Each of these three necklaces is different in style and design, but each one has been given an oxidising patina to highlight the details in the silver before being polished back to a soft shine. They each have a lovely, tactile feel and a beautiful organic look.
As my surname happens to be 'Twigg' I have named these after my three daughters; Elora, Lucy and Cleo. The dimensions and a description of each is below!
The 'Cleo' Necklace - £64
This is a modern take on the perenially popular t-bar necklace, with a short length of silver twig that is balanced to hang horizontally from a series of silver loops. The twig itself measures 34mm (3.4cm) long and is paired with an 18" (45cm) detachable belcher chain.
The 'Lucy' Necklace - £68
This is a lovely horizontal bar necklace, made using a finer and longer silver twig that is hung from each side by a length of belcher chain. The chain on this one is attached permanently with the necklace having a total overall length of 16" (40cm) and the twig measures 53mm (5.3cm).
The 'Elora' Necklace - £160
This is the largest and heaviest of the three necklaces and is a Lariat style, with the silver twig hanging as a bar from the end of a length of chunky belcher chain. There is a hand-forged silver ring at the other end, made from a twisted and hammered length of wire, and the bar can be wrapped around this to hold the necklace closed.
The overall drop and height, as well as the position of the ring, can be adjusted as required by having more or less chain hanging free at the end.
The length of the twig is 46mm / 4.6cm (not including the hanging loop at the top) and the twisted wire ring has a diameter of approximately 30mm/3cm across. The chain section in the middle is 21" (53cm) giving the necklace a total overall length of 24" (64cm).
Due to the weight of silver in this particular necklace, it has been Hallmarked by the Assay Office London.
Please be aware that although each of these pendant designs are made using the same series of moulds and each one will be the exact same weight of silver as the others of the same type, they are each made by hand and therefore subtly unique to each other. There may be slight variations in the detail on each twig. This means that each necklace is 'one of a kind' and no two will ever be exactly alike.
As a result of this the necklace provided may differ from the ones shown in the original listing images, but should you wish to select and choose one in particular then please ask before purchasing and I will be able to provide images of all those I currently have available in stock.
Shipping within the UK is already included via Royal Mail's ‘Tracked 24’ service (delivery estimate within 2-3 working days), with an optional upgrade to an express 'Special Delivery' service available at checkout for an additional charge (delivery estimate 1-2 working days).
I always aim to despatch all orders on the same or next working day that they are received, so any upgrade in postage chosen by a customer will be for the purposes of achieving higher priority within the Royal Mail system itself, rather than a faster processing time from me as a seller.
Please be aware that I am unable to guarantee specific delivery times of orders once posted but an estimate will be provided on checkout. This is a guide only.
Every item of Willow & Twigg jewellery is presented beautifully wrapped in tissue paper and ready for giving as a gift. However, if you would like to upgrade the standard packaging to a ribbon-tied cardboard gift box, then I also offer a gift-wrapping upgrade via the optional check-box. Some larger or higher value items will include this option as standard and in such cases it won't be shown as an option in the listing.
If your purchase is a gift and you wish to include a short handwritten message on a tag then I am more than happy to provide this service free of charge, regardless of packaging choice. Please enter any required text in the optional box to the left of the images.
In addition, if you wish the item to be sent direct to the recipient, then please make sure the mailing address is correct during the checkout process.
Aftercare advice on how to best care for your handmade jewellery will be provided in a leaflet with every order, but can also be found at the link HERE.
More information on payment and shipping, along with a copy of our full terms and conditions and privacy policy can be found at the links in the main menu and at the footer of each page.
And finally, if there is anything else at all that you would like to know about a particular item then please don’t hesitate to send a message and I’ll do my best to help!
