These lovely lariat necklaces are part of The Willow Collection; a unique and stylish range of handcrafted bronze and sterling silver jewellery, all featuring a circular hammered hoop design that is inspired by a wreath of willow twigs.

Bronze is a truly beautiful metal with a long history of being worn as jewellery that dates back thousands of years. It has the most gorgeous warm, earthy golden tones and is an incredibly strong and durable material. I have started working with bronze because I absolutely love it as a metal, and because it offers a more affordable alternative to silver and gold. It is also traditionally recognised as the gift for an 8th wedding anniversary.

Sold individually and available in two different sizes/lengths, these unusual and contemporary necklaces are each handcrafted from a layered wire ring of solid bronze which has been twisted and hammered for texture and just a little sparkle, and secured by a length of silver chain to a rounded, hammered bronze bar.

The bar is simply wrapped around the ring and allowed to hang free at the bottom, giving the necklace a secure fastening and adjustable length. I would recommend wrapping the chain around at least one full time to ensure it is held in place.\

Medium Ring/Shorter Length Necklace

The ring element of this design measures approximately 22mm across in diameter, with the bar at the other end being 25mm long and 3mm wide. This necklace is approximately 48cm (19") in total length.

Larger Ring/Longer Length Necklace

The ring element of this design measures approximately 36mm across in diameter, with the bar at the other end being 25mm long and 3mm wide. This necklace is approximately 58cm (23") in total length.

The necklaces all have a traditional bright and shiny polished finish to emphasise the sparkle, but I can also offer a softer matte finish if preferred. Please just send a message before purchasing if you wish to change this!

These necklaces are comfortable and easy to wear, and a great option for anyone who may struggle with closing and opening traditional clasps.

There are also matching earrings that go with this necklace, and an alternative necklace design in a more classic 'pendant and chain' style. The range is also available made entirely from sterling silver.
