Dainty Turquoise & Sterling Silver Pendant
Sold individually, these dainty handcrafted boho-style contemporary pendants are made from solid sterling silver using traditional metalsmithing techniques. Each one features a gorgeous rose-cut Kingman Turquoise gemstone.
Each stone has been securely set in a custom made setting using silver castellated gallery wire on a solid recycled silver backplate.
All three pendants have been oxidised for an antique vintage look, before being polished back to a higher shine. The reverse of each backplate has a plain finish.
These are a more delicate sized pendant, and as such have been paired with a beautiful and lighter-weight 16"/40cm sterling silver belcher chain, which fastens with a classic bolt clasp.
The Turquoise gemstones are from the Kingman mine in Arizona, USA, and each has a faceted rose-cut domed surface which adds just a little sparkle as they move in the light, and have a soft and subtle sheen.
Each of these necklaces is unique and 'one of a kind' - please select your exact choice from the menu. Details on the sizes of each one are given below, with measurements taken from the length and width of the backplate itself (not including the hanging loop).
A - Backplate measures 17mm by 16mm and is 5mm deep.
B - Backplate measures 15mm by 15mm and is 5mm deep.
C - Backplate measures 16mm by 16mm and is 5mm deep.

ABOUT THE STONE
Turquoise is believed to be one of the oldest stones known to man and has long been cherished as such. It is prized as a symbol of wisdom, and is prevalent in many ancient customs where it has always been known as ‘the stone of protection’.
It is said to strengthen the meridians in the body and support intuition and meditation. Turquoise is also the birthstone for the month of December.
PACKAGING & SHIPPING
Due to weight and value, this necklace will be carefully gift wrapped and presented in a ribbon-tied cardboard gift box. All items are sent in mailing boxes, mailing bags or padded envelopes as appropriate.
Shipping within the UK is already included via Royal Mail's ‘Tracked 24’ service (delivery estimate within 2-3 working days), with an optional upgrade to an express 'Special Delivery' service available at checkout for an additional charge (delivery estimate 1-2 working days).
I always aim to despatch all orders on the same or next working day that they are received, so any upgrade in postage chosen by a customer will be for the purposes of achieving higher priority within the Royal Mail system itself, rather than a faster processing time from me as a seller.
