If you're looking for something shiny and elegant to wear this festive season or to perhaps give as a gift this Christmas, then these solid sterling silver and gold earrings are a great choice!

Contemporary, discreet and classy in design, they are handmade from a simple sterling silver circle and accented with a tiny gold-filled and super-shiny star that is suspended below and moves freely, allowing it to play in the light.


The silver ring measures just 9mm in diameter and is worn by means of a traditional post fitting with a butterfly scroll back. The little star measures 8mm across from point to point, and is thin and lightweight - making these earrings as comfortable and easy to wear as a pair of classic studs. The overall length is 20mm (2cm) from the top of the silver circle to the bottom of the star.


The star hangs from the main circle by means of a second tiny silver ring, which has been carefully soldered closed for strength and durability as well as a high quality finish, and the earrings have each been polished to a fine shine.


'Gold filled' is the term used to describe a base metal which has been mechanically bonded with a thick outer layer of gold. This gives it the same appearance and durability as solid gold (as opposed to 'gold plated', which can wear off quickly) but at a much more affordable price.


Perfect for the festive season and ideal for any Christmas party, they also make a fab every-day earring for anyone who likes celestial jewellery, and a great present for anyone you think deserves a gold star - or two!


These earrings are now also available with hooks instead of posts.



PACKAGING & SHIPPING
These earrings will be carefully gift wrapped and presented in a ribbon-tied hessian or cotton fabric bag, and sent in a mailing box/mailing bag or padded envelope as appropriate.

Shipping within the UK is already included via Royal Mail's ‘Tracked 24’ service (delivery estimate within 2-3 working days), with an optional upgrade to an express 'Special Delivery' service available at checkout for an additional charge (delivery estimate 1-2 working days).

I always aim to despatch all orders on the same or next working day that they are received, so any upgrade in postage chosen by a customer will be for the purposes of achieving higher priority within the Royal Mail system itself, rather than a faster processing time from me as a seller.

Please be aware that I am unable to guarantee specific delivery times of orders once posted but an estimate will be provided on checkout. This is a guide only.


GIFT WRAP & MESSAGING

Every item of Willow & Twigg jewellery is presented beautifully wrapped in tissue paper and ready for giving as a gift. However, if you would like to upgrade the standard packaging to a ribbon-tied cardboard gift box, then I also offer a gift-wrapping upgrade via the optional check-box. Some larger or higher value items will include this option as standard and in such cases it won't be shown as an option in the listing.


If your purchase is a gift and you wish to include a short handwritten message on a tag then I am more than happy to provide this service free of charge, regardless of packaging choice. Please enter any required text in the optional box to the left of the images.


In addition, if you wish the item to be sent direct to the recipient, then please make sure the mailing address is correct during the checkout process.
