Overseas Customers

Checkout on this website is currently only enabled for customers within the UK, due to setup limitations. However, I am able to ship overseas to many other countries (with the exception of those within the European Union). If you are located outside of the UK and wish to make a purchase, please just get in touch via the contact form or by emailing hello@willowandtwigg.com and I can check the potential postage costs and customs charges for you.

As a rough guide, anything sent to the USA will be subject to an additional £10 postage charge, plus 10% of the value of each individual item to cover the current import tariffs.

If you're looking to give someone a Willow & Twigg Gift Card but are worried about it appearing a little 'last minute' or would prefer to have something physical to present to them, then this optional add-on is your answer!

Gift Cards are a great way to buy someone a special piece of handmade jewellery from my collection when you aren't quite sure exactly what they'd like or what size they might need. I have created this optional add-on listing so that you can make such a gift feel more intentional and considered than simply passing on an email with a numerical code.

That is, of course, still an option if you do not wish to purchase any additional packaging or have your own ideas on how you wish to present the digital card to someone!

The physical Gift Cards I have available are created from recycled paper that has been embedded with real wildflower seeds. When you no longer need the card it can be planted in the soil and the recipient can enjoy flowers too! Planting instructions are included further down the page.

You can choose from two options; a beautiful ribbon-tied gift box with a magnetic fastening (the insert can be removed so the box can also be repurposed) or a simple printed card wallet in a green envelope.

The box will be sent via a Tracked 24 service, and the card wallet is available with a regular First Class or a Tracked 24 Option. Both can be upgraded to Special Delivery at checkout if you need an express service.

Once you have purchased your Digital Gift Card together with a physical add-on option, I will add the chosen value and unique redemption code number to the back of the card for you. You can then opt to have this physical card sent directly to you to hand to the recipient in person, or I can send it direct to them for you - along with a personal message if required. Please just make sure the delivery address is correct at checkout. A digital copy of the code required will also be automatically emailed to you immediately after purchase.

SEEDED GIFT CARD PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Soak in water for 24-48 hours.

Fill a shallow container with room temperature water. Gently place the seed paper into the water, ensuring it's fully submerged. Allow the seed paper to soak for 24 to 48 hours. This time frame allows the seeds to absorb water, kickstarting the germination process.

2. Transfer to a pot with compost, water regularly.

After soaking, prepare a pot with well-draining compost or potting soil. Gently transfer the soaked seed paper onto the surface of the compost. Lightly press the seed paper into the compost to ensure good soil contact. Water the pot regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can continue to leave the seed paper in water until you notice the seeds starting to sprout, and then transfer them to the compost.

3. Keep in a warm place (very important!) with natural light.

Place the pot in a warm location with access to natural light, such as a sunny windowsill or greenhouse. Ensure the temperature remains consistently warm, as this is crucial for seed germination. Aim for a temperature range of 18 to 24 degrees Celsius (65 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit). Provide adequate ventilation to prevent mold growth, especially in humid conditions. Monitor the moisture levels in the soil, making sure it never dries out completely. However, be cautious not to overwater, as this can lead to rot or fungal issues.

4. Enjoy your blooms!

As the seeds germinate and grow, continue to provide care by watering as needed and ensuring they receive sufficient light. Over time, the seedlings will develop into mature plants and eventually bloom, providing a beautiful display of flowers. Enjoy the fruits of your labor and the beauty of nature's cycle from seed to plant to bloom!
