ABOUT THE STONES

PINK OPAL

Pink Opal is said to be a powerful stone for healing the emotions, especially those connected with subconsciously held pain. It can also help restore emotional balance and assist in healing matters of the heart. It is also reported to encourage the release of fear, worry or anxiety.

PREHNITE

Prehnite is a crystal gemstone that is considered a stone of unconditional love, and regarded as the crystal to ‘heal the healer’. Prehnite is said to enhance precognition, inner knowing and spiritual growth. This lovely stone has an energy that helps you to be prepared, and is said to calm the environment and bring peace, joy and protection as well as relieve worry. It teaches how to be in harmony with nature and the elemental forces. It is also a zodiac stone for Libra.

AMAZONITE

Amazonite is known as ‘the stone of courage’ and is said to have the power to calm the spirit and soothe the soul. Also used for general well-being, it is a zodiac stone for Virgo.

TURQUOISE

Turquoise is believed to be one of the oldest stones known to man and has long been cherished as such. It is prized as a symbol of wisdom, and is prevalent in many ancient customs where it has always been known as ‘the stone of protection’. It is said to strengthen the meridians in the body and support intuition and meditation. Turquoise is also the birthstone for the month of December.

AQUAMARINE

The name 'Aquamarine' come from the Latin 'aqua marinus' meaning 'water of the sea' and refers to its beautiful ocean-like colour. This colour, consisting of varying shades of blue through to green, is caused by iron oxides within the makeup of the stones. In ancient folklore Aquamarine was believed to be the treasure of mermaids and was used by sailors as a talisman of good luck, fearlessness and protection. It was also considered a stone of eternal youth and happiness. Today it protects all who travel by, over or near water. It is also the traditional birthstone for the month of March.

RAINBOW MOONSTONE

Deeply linked to femininity and the moon, moonstone is a perfect stone to gracefully create harmony within and strengthen intuition. It was regarded as the stone of Gods and Godessess in ancient India and is seen as sacred and regal. A stone for “new beginnings”, Moonstone is also a stone of inner growth and strength. It is said to soothe emotional instability and stress, and stabilise the emotions, providing calmness. Moonstone is also said to promote inspiration, success and good fortune in love and business matters.

Shipping within the UK is already included via Royal Mail's ‘Tracked 24’ service (delivery estimate within 2-3 working days), with an optional upgrade to an express 'Special Delivery' service available at checkout for an additional charge (delivery estimate 1-2 working days).

I always aim to despatch all orders on the same or next working day that they are received, so any upgrade in postage chosen by a customer will be for the purposes of achieving higher priority within the Royal Mail system itself, rather than a faster processing time from me as a seller.

Every item of Willow & Twigg jewellery is presented beautifully wrapped in tissue paper and ready for giving as a gift. However, if you would like to upgrade the standard packaging to a ribbon-tied cardboard gift box, then I also offer a gift-wrapping upgrade via the optional check-box. Some larger or higher value items will include this option as standard and in such cases it won't be shown as an option in the listing.

If your purchase is a gift and you wish to include a short handwritten message on a tag then I am more than happy to provide this service free of charge, regardless of packaging choice. Please enter any required text in the optional box to the left of the images.

In addition, if you wish the item to be sent direct to the recipient, then please make sure the mailing address is correct during the checkout process.
