The Agate stone was sourced from a known Lapidary in the USA, and has the most stunning swirly banding patterns, reminiscent of seaweed or coral, making it truly unique. It has a domed surface and has been polished to a high glossy shine. There are a few indentations on the surface that are not visible but can be lightly felt - these are not faults but very slight bumps that occurred naturally during the polishing and shaping process.

The chain is a classic 20" belcher chain, and fastens with a trigger clasp. I can offer alternative lengths or styles of chain if preferred - please contact me before purchase to check what I have available!

The whole piece has been oxidised to add definition to the setting before being polished back to a soft matte sheen. A very striking piece of jewellery that is a great conversation starter!

ABOUT THE STONE

Moss Agate is a form of chalcedony included in the Agate family. It is a semi-precious stone made from silicon dioxide. Moss Agate has green colored minerals throughout which look like moss. It also has brown or black shades in the patterns.

Moss Agate is considered to be the stone of new beginnings and is all about attracting abundance and tapping into deep-set creativity. It is said to reduce sensitivity to weather and environmental pollutants, encourage tranquility and emotional balance, and improve self-esteem.

PACKAGING & SHIPPING

Due to weight and value, this necklace will be carefully gift wrapped and presented in a ribbon-tied cardboard gift box. All items are sent in mailing boxes, mailing bags or padded envelopes as appropriate.

Shipping within the UK is already included via Royal Mail's ‘Tracked 24’ service (delivery estimate within 2-3 working days), with an optional upgrade to an express 'Special Delivery' service available at checkout for an additional charge (delivery estimate 1-2 working days).

I always aim to despatch all orders on the same or next working day that they are received, so any upgrade in postage chosen by a customer will be for the purposes of achieving higher priority within the Royal Mail system itself, rather than a faster processing time from me as a seller.
