A beautiful solid sterling silver chain bracelet featuring multiple dangling charms made from iridescent 'mermaid glass' beads, ivory-coloured freshwater pearls and Aquamarine gemstone chips - all threaded onto solid sterling silver ball headpins.

This is a heavyweight sterling silver bracelet made up of even-sized oval links, and enhanced with multiple dangling charms consisting of beautiful 'mermaid glass' beads, genuine freshwater pearls and aquamarine gemstone chips.

Each of these charms have been individually secured and attached by solid sterling silver ball headpins.

The glass beads are a lovely opaque white colour, with a matte, frosted texture and a gorgeous iridescent flash of rainbow colour that gives them the illusion of 'glowing' as the light catches them.

The pearls are dainty little freshwater teardrop-shaped pearls measuring approximately 5mm to 6mm in length, and the gemstone chips are genuine aquamarine stones with a shiny gloss finish and in all the loveliest shades of the sea!

The bracelet measures just over 20cm/8 inches in length and fastens with a heavyweight sterling silver carabiner lobster clasp. The clasp can be attached to any of the main oval links in the chain, making the bracelet fully adjustable to ensure the most comfortable fit.

Due to its weight this bracelet has been fully hallmarked by The London Assay Office as 925 Sterling Silver and also includes my own unique sponsor's/makers mark 'KAT'. This serves as a guarantee of authenticity to prove that the metal is of the quality and finesse described.

The name 'Aquamarine' come from the Latin 'aqua marinus' meaning 'water of the sea' and refers to its beautiful ocean-like colour. This colour, consisting of varying shades of blue through to green, is caused by iron oxides within the makeup of the stones.

In ancient folklore Aquamarine was believed to be the treasure of mermaids and was used by sailors as a talisman of good luck, fearlessness and protection. It was also considered a stone of eternal youth and happiness.

Today it protects all who travel by, over or near water. It is also the traditional birthstone for the month of March.
